Digitalizing SAT Tutoring with Forbes 30 Under 30 Recipient
Chrissybil Boulin’s journey on making SAT tutoring more accessible to students across the country through artificial intelligence and machine learning apps
2022 Forbe’s 30 Under 30 Education Recipient Chrissybil Boulin is determined to make SAT tutoring and education more accessible through her partnership with Valere.
Chrissybil’s journey started after her graduation from the University of Cambridge where she held a master’s degree in economics. Being a Haitian American who previously founded a nonprofit to support schools in Haiti, she soon realized her goal of making education more accessible by starting her own tutoring service three years ago in Florida. Today, Jump Start Tutoring Center offers SAT prep classes to students and has successfully improved students’ scores by an average of 180 points.
To create wider accessibility for students across the country, Chrissybil is now partnering up with Valere to create a platform that has artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. The platform seeks to gamify the lessons making SAT tutoring more engaging and less mundane.
Inspired by Chrissybil’s passion for education accessibility, Valere’s team of developers doubled down on their efforts and took charge of the construction of this mobile application from the ground up completing the research, UX/UI designs, and front and back-end development.
With the collaboration of Valere, Chrissybil has now taken this platform and spoken with over 50 investors. She is currently in the process of rescoping the idea internally and will be relying on Valere Lab’s team to formulate the best possible product to launch to the market.
